Fun in The Sun Scavenger Hunt!

JOIN US for some Family friendly fun! Fun in the Sun Scavenger Hunt 2024! Please join us RAIN OR SHINE as we support our local kids and teens within Mason County! All proceeds go to help kids with backpacks. WHEN: Saturday, August 3rd, 2024 WHERE: Local Businesses and Landmarks From 9am to 4pm! Callanan Park 400 W. E St. 4:30-7:30 Kids Event, Pick Up Prizes & More!! WHO: You can sign up as an individual or a team of friends/family COST: $25 per team / family of 4 or $7per individual. Add 1 dozen Glazed Krispy Creme Donuts for $15.00 WHAT: Have some fun, and tons of chances to win prizes!! WHY: Because helping kids is awesome and we all need to have a little fun! Tons of prizes to give away! How It Works: Saturday Morning between 9am-11am stop at our Swag Bag Location Occu 2948 Olympic Hwy Shelton & pickup your scavenger swag bag. Bags contain your Sunshine Grand Prize Clues, a Map, and a list of the items you're hunting for!! Hunt rules and directions will also be included! Now the fun starts!! Follow your map around Shelton Community and go find the items on your list, take a picture of what you found and post it in the comments of the corelating business's picture on our event page! ***Examples: (For clarification only, hypothetical) If you find a sunshine at OCCU take a picture of it! Then go on the Facebook Event page, find the picture of OCCU and post your picture of the Sunshine in the comments! Voila' - You are entered for the OCCU drawing! If you find a Popsicle sticker in the window at Ts Cafe, go find the picture of the Ts Cafe on our event and post your picture in the comments! Now you're entered in the HUB drawing! Each Business's picture will have its own drawing for those that comment. That is 20 chances to win!! Now don't be fooled as items on your list can come in many different forms! It could be an actual physical item, or a sticker in their window, maybe even a drawing on their sidewalk! Last but certainly not least, you surely can't have Scavenger Hunt without Grand Prizes! ~ The Sunshine Clues locations will be located throughout your hunt! Be sure to take a picture with your Sunshine at the Sunshine Locations and follow directions on Sunshine Clues paper! Just for supporting our event by purchasing a ticket, you will automatically be entered to win our Great outdoors Prize package! Winner will be notified via Facebook Messenger or Text!
